Chataigne Skirt

img_20150426_132953As I already mentioned in my post on the Chataigne shorts, Deer&Doe offer a tutorial, showing how to turn the Chataigne Shorts into a skirt. I got interested in the pattern because I saw someone in the Internet wearing the skirt, so I actually bought the pattern with the intention of making myself a skirt out of it. And I had the perfect fabric in my stash. A bought it at a fabric flea market in Maastricht, which is in the Netherlands and a real paradise for fabric shoppers! Racoon-Belladone

img_20150413_190152Marvin’s sister is getting married! First thing I thought was: Dresses! Yay! What a great excuse to shop fabrics and sew some dresses. Yes, some dresses! I have quite a few in mind and the one I am showing you today is only the beginning ;) I used the Belladone pattern by Deer&Doe. I fell in love I first saw the pattern! Uuuuu so gorgeous! Bruyère

img_20150412_142307I got the  Deer&Doe fever! They offer such beautiful patterns! And since a overcame the barrier of buying their paper patterns I am unstoppable! The first pattern I sewed were those adorable Chataigne Shorts! I just recently finished a Chataigne Skirt. But today I am going to show you something different: the Bruyere Blouse. For a long time I had an eye on some (or: most)of their patterns! I do not know why I didn’t order, I think I thought shipping costs are high, but in fact they are not!
