Peacock Lady Skater

img_20150529_200656I’m back! Okay, some of you might not even have realized I was gone, because I had WiFi on the campsite and so I was able to comment and post a little! But I missed my fast Internet I have at home, browsing is much more fun at home! Except for the lame internet we had a really great time (and to be honest, the lame Internet wasn’t a huge problem either ;))! We had so much luck with the weather! It was shitty the day before we arrived and it was shitty on our departure! In between was nothing but sunshine! That never happened to us before! Continue reading

Flowery Belladone

img_20150518_193439I was planning on wearing my racoon belladone to Marvin’s sister’s wedding. But than I ran across another beautiful fabric that was on sale. It is a patchwork fabric just the like the racoon fabric and it only cost ! 10 €/m. It really wasn’t love at first sight. This is not a fabric I would usually buy. I have a phobia against white! When I wear white I am constantly afraid that I could get dirty. And most often I do. I don’t know why, Murphy’s Law or something… But because I kinda was on the look out for a wedding-guest-fabric I gave the fabric a second look and thought that it might just be perfect! Bonnell Dress

img_20150510_173749Did you see? Dixie from DixieDIY released a new pattern, the Bonnell dress. I read her blog for quite some time now and was amazed the first time I saw her in that dress! It has cut-outs on the sides! Isn’t that cool? I’m a fan of cut-outs, where ever they are. Not wearable in the office though, but perfect for a hot summer’s day! And since I saw that first version I knew I had the perfect fabric for that in my stash! Continue reading

Laurel

img_20150426_130718I don’t like buying fabric that has only one color! And I don’t like sewing it either. But from time to time I just need a garment that is a little more unflashy. So I bought the fabric I used for my Bruyere Blouse in also in another color, a darker blue. Just recently I had a job interview, it was really spontaneous and I didn’t have anything to wear! I also didn’t have the time to sew something fancy and it came to my mind to sew a dress I could wear! Continue reading

Racoon-Belladone

img_20150413_190152Marvin’s sister is getting married! First thing I thought was: Dresses! Yay! What a great excuse to shop fabrics and sew some dresses. Yes, some dresses! I have quite a few in mind and the one I am showing you today is only the beginning ;) I used the Belladone pattern by Deer&Doe. I fell in love I first saw the pattern! Uuuuu so gorgeous! I cannot remember why I didn’t buy the pattern right away. Anyway, when I ordered the other 2 patterns (Chataigne and Bruyere) it was only natural to order Belladone as well. Continue reading

The Ultimate Wrap Dress

img_20150322_160108It’s like I woke up one morning and had this idea in my head: I need a wrap dress! This is the answer to all of my questions! Okay, I think I have to give Karin and Jessica credit for putting this idea into my head, every week they show new beautiful versions of wrap dresses on their blogs! I could not resist any longer and started looking for patterns. Okay, spoiler alert: I did not just look ;) Continue reading
